Completely fun book. I loved Smudge, the fire spider with the personality of a dog, a love for Sponge Bob and sweets and hatred of Journey. I think he's one of my favorite sidekicks ever. I liked Isaac and the magic in this book is awesome. All the rules of what can or cannot be done by a libriomancer are fascinating. There are all sorts of wonderful geeky references.
