What can I say about Jake and Tru... troubled souls who are soul-mates. After being childhood best friends who were separated 12 years they picked up their friendship where it was left of... oh and sexy flirting and hot sex. Yum.

Loved how Tru kept fighting with herself with her decisions... fight between her heart and her head.
Can't wait for the next book to see what's in store for those 2.

Oh, how I LOVE this book... I am in AWE.
I just didn't see that coming at all.

Hot Alpha male lead + intense, angsty romance usually make for a winning combination for me. Although, sometimes they are risky, since they either come with disappointments and/or betrayals and heartbreaks. «The Mighty Storm», however, was IT for me.

I already have a soft spot for couples who have a history of being childhood sweethearts, so yeah, I already was in a position to like Trudy's and Jake's story.

But WOW all

I struggled back and forth with what to rate this book.....everytime that Tru doubted herself..I took off a star...everytime that she dressed like an out of work yuppie clown I took off a star...just pretty much the first third of this book I mainted this position

SHE ANNOYED ME LIKE NO ONE ELSE HAS NOT EVEN FUCKING KEIRA FROM THOUGHTLESS

I mean COME ONE ....your best fried comes back into your life...obviously wants to spend time with you is famous, hot, so considerate with you, offers you a

So that was a rollercoaster, and a pretty real account of what it is like to be in the public eye. Sure, there are upsides to being a celebrity, but this is an insightful look into what it's like to be rich, famous, and public property.

Tru and Jake were childhood best friends who were separated, only to be reunited 12 years later at the beginning of this book. It was clear that both loved each other deeply, but due to his fame, it was hard for them to get it right. Also, she happens to already

Sad to say but this hero was a whiny lil boy for me . He started out well until he became this awful shit storm of begging and need yada yada yada. I could not stand that , he acted more like the girl for me than the guy and that disturbed me. I did not feel that dark ambience the author was trying to create. Really I would have chosen because even though it was short I loved him and I feel horrible for how the heroine (view spoiler) ...more

“Trudy Bennett, I love you beyond any lyrics I could ever write, or any words I could ever say. I always have, and I always will.

Thoughtless meets Love Unscripted. Two of my absolute favorite novels condensed into an awesomely hot novel. Jake Wethers is beyond sexy and the epitome of the bad boy. He’s literally done it all: all the drugs, all the girls and all the crazy stunts including peeing on the stage in Japan. But he’s seen the light after losing his best friend and is ready to live a life

This book proves that nobody's perfect. It made me realize that no matter how you wanted to make someone happy... At the end of the day, you are still human prone to committing mistakes. This is how Jake Weders weathered the storm in this book ;)

Needs editing and fleshing out.

I had a really difficult time adjusting to the first-person, present tense narration. I would suggest to the author looking up authors like Alice Hoffman, Francesca Lia Block, etc, and reading how they describe things. Using the senses.

Totally loved the story line and loved this book. Tru and Jake. It was a roller coaster ride but it was worth it. I liked that they were best friends and lost contact I liked everything about the two of them. Its a must read for sure.

Totally love Jake. Meanwhile, I want to drop kick Tru in the throat! Despite her incessant annoyance I really enjoyed the story once I got past the word vomit and annoying repetition of the same phrases or same explanation multiple times! I'll read the next one though. ...more
