If you are like me and you adore the lovable assholes, the jerks, and the manwhores... then Drew Evans is just the guy for you!!! This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t get enough! Being inside Drew Evan’s head was amazing! One of the funniest and most enjoyable stories I have read in a really long time!

I loved every single thing about this book! Loved. This book was just everything. Great story, great characters, great steam, just enough angst to keep me on my toes. It is hilarious. I laughed, I sighed, I cheered. I loved. I did not want it to end! And the best part of all, it is told in my favorite character’s POV…Drew. Loved him.

This book generated so much buzz that I feared it will be tough to read it objectively: if I like it, am I allowing the majority view to sway my opinion? If I don't like it am I just the resident party pooper, bent on nitpicking everything? I figured I'd just rate and review by answering Did I like it?

I don't think I've read a more unputdownable, feel-good romance novel in recent months. Drew Evans had me grinning like an idiot from ~~page 1~~ the cover to the very last page. While the typical broody and bossy alpha-male is my tried-and-tested go-to hero, it's always refreshing to fall for someone who's funny and melodramatic too.

Love this book!!! It went on my favorites shelf before I even finished it. Yes. That good.

This book is about second chances, forgiveness and redemption. It's also packed loaded with sarcasm, humor and one sexy, self centered, arrogant, pain in the ass hero by the name of Drew. I absolutely loved being in his head. I honestly can't wait to read more books from this author.

Oh, what can I say in this review that hasn't already been said a billion times!? .....

Here's the bottom line: Drew is hot--kind of a pig at times, yes--but his heart is golden. He really made the book for me. The all-male pov was a refreshing change, especially since this book was written to be humorous. <---- And that right there is what makes this novel five stars for me.

All in all, a fun story that is a quick, put-a-smile-on-your-face, LOL read!

OMG!!! I don't know where to start but this book was so freaking funny, it had me in stitches. I loved being in Drew's head and I loved the dialogue, how he's actually talking to us, educating us on what is really going on in a guys mind. For example how annoying it is to men that woman like to eat salads in front of them instead of a cheeseburger, "Dude, she was one fugly chick, but once I saw her chomping that romaine, I just had to nail her". I mean that's shit is funny and oh so true. But do OMG!!! I don't know where to start but this book was so freaking funny, it had me in stitches. I loved being in Drew's head and I loved the dialogue, how he's actually talking to us, educating us on what is really going on in a guys mind. So Drew is a Playboy, man whore, gigolo.....pick a word that's what he is. He loves sex, can separate sex from feelings even comparing this theory to toothpaste.....aqua-fresh vs Colgate......but he tells "us" how it is, you know never wanting to ride the same ride twice, but of course "twin roller coasters" are an exception. But Drew is loving his single life until he meets Kate. Well that's when things change, messes with his head and tries to make everything right. This book is an easy read, will have you busting a gut laughing. They way he is with his niece, it will melt your heart and the swear jar!! Yes, Mackenzie will have her college paid for with her Uncle Drew around, ""My profanity has a certain religious flavor that can only be learned through a lifetime of Catholic Education. Jesus H. Christ.....Goddam it...Jesus, Mary and Joseph....fucking Christ Almighty......holy fucking shit- and that's just what we heard from the priests. Don't get me started on the nuns."

So if you want a laugh, escape into a guys mind, read this, you will love Drew and what pops into his male mind "I BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW THIS, but lots of guys have a thing for Ariel. You know, from The Little Mermaid? I've never been into her myself, but I can understand the attraction: she fills out her shells nicely, she's a redhead, and she spends most of the movie unable to speak."

5+ stars on entertainment value alone!!!!! ...more

Tangled couldn’t have been released at a better time. After having a hectic night at work, this book was exactly what I needed to lift up my spirits. I could not stop laughing. It was like watching a live comedy show. I loved all the analogies Drew used, it was frekin’ hilarious.

I absolutely LOVED every single part of this book. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next book. I’m definitely hooked on this series.

This book is absolutely hilarious. Hands down. Try being in line at Starbucks, reading in your trusty iPhone and coming across a part in the book where a 4 (yes 4) year old says that her uncle's friend is pussy whipped. At the table. On thanksgiving. Ya I was the one in line laughing at my phone.
This reminded me of watching a tv show. I was thinking Carrie Bradshaw with a dick?? The make pov was awesome through the entire book. Loved his narration. Drew was amazing, smart, handsome and cocky. A ...more

Okay, when I first saw this book being promoted 2 days ago, I thought 'this totally looks like something I might like'. I didn't buy it right away, I saw the price and I thought well how many pages is it? I couldn't find that anywhere but then a blog site I follow told me she read a beta or arc copy (i can't remember which) and it was over 200 pages. So I picked it up..

Then my issue was, an entire book from a male POV. I have read those before and lately they have been really not my th 4.75 stars

Then my issue was, an entire book from a male POV. I have read those before and lately they have been really not my thing. Either they are sequels from a previous female POV that was botched or the author made the male sound way too girly..

This book did NOT do that. In fact, I am pretty sure the author is either a male (lol) or knows men VERY well because I couldn't tell for a second that a woman was actually writing this..

Now. On to the story..

Drew is a player, he is a hot guy, who can have any woman he wants and doesn't have to work for it but he has one rule. He never sleeps with the same girl twice. Hey he can afford that..

The he meets Kate, who later turns out to be a new associate at his father's business, and he falls for her. But clearly, from just the synopsis you know that it does not go well, because the book starts with Drew dealing with the 'flu' and man is he 'sick'.

Drew is a jerk, so the book has a little bit of angst and drama, but he is hot, and he is confident and he knows just what to say to get what he wants, and all he wants is Kate.

He is sweet with his family, so he is not an all around loser, and Kate is tough, she isn't a weak woman who falls for a guy just because he is hot or rich. She really stands her ground with Drew and I loved that about her..

the book was a quick read for me. I would love to see more from these 2, or even an epilogue or something . It was a funny read too, chase is sarcastic and he has several lines in there that just made me actually laugh out loud..

You felt what he was feeling, although I wasn't always sure his choices were the right ones (in fact more times than not I thought he was being an idiot lol) but it is pulled off, and it was really a great read!! ...more
