I'm not going to do much of a recap, just my thoughts on certain things that struck me. There are literally HUNDREDS of off the charts amazing reviews for this book/series and I couldn't possibly say it better.

Ellie: Yeah, this girl never really had me warming up to her...up until the last 1/3 of the book or so. Ellie is a con artist through and through. Regardless of how she was brought up, within the grifter lifestyle, she sees EVERYONE as a mark. And she holds a grudge like none other...it's

This book was simply captivating. From the very beginning, I was totally immersed in Ellie and Camden, and completely fell in love with these flawed characters.

Ellie was as lost a character as I've ever met. She had no idea who she was. After years of running, of trading one identity for another, she had no idea who the "real" her was.

I'm not bad. The world is bad and I'm just trying to survive in it.

She silently opened the window and went into the house. When she eventually left the house, her life would be changed forever.

In a New York minute everything can change. Ellie Watt learned this lesson the hard way when she was just a little girl. She could never have known that one night would mark her body and soul for the rest of her life. One night that would change the course of her future. One night that would breed hate into her heart. One night that would shatter her childhood.

I went into this book completely blind. I had no idea what was coming and I was really pleasantly surprised.
This was my first book by Karina Halle, but it definitely won't be my last.

The storyline is like nothing I have ever read before. There are really strong characters and an even better, original storyline.

Ellie is a hard heroine to love, especially at first. But by the end of the book I understood her a little more and I think that that will only grow stronger the more I learn about h

LOVED IT! No book makes it faster to my favorites shelf than one with a unconventional fatally flawed hero. Karina Halle has written a great one with Camden McQueen. How else to explain how an effeminate, black lipstick wearing, Goth teenager morphs into a pierced, tattooed (ok, that is expected) horned rimmed glasses wearing, Dumbo eared (admit it…unexpected) tattoo artist hottie. (Anyone familiar with Dex, from the author’s EIT series knows how wonderfully, unconventional her heroes can be.)

Wow. What a wild ride!! Karina Halle never disappoints. I am in love with the EIT series and the characters, and Sins & Needles has me wanting more! I love her style of writing and how she grabs you from the beginning and you must hold on until the end! I am so happy I discovered her and her fabulous books :)
