WARNING! THIS IS NOT A REVIEW. THIS IS JUST ME RAMBLING ABOUT MY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ON THE BOOK. SPOILERS AHEAD.
I knew I was headed for trouble from the first scene alone. Was it an MMA fight or boxing? No boxing gloves but they're in a ring, not a cage. But I wanted to keep an open mind and see where the story takes me. Unfortunately, it doesn't go very far. The content is 10% story and 90% description of Remy and how he makes Brooke feel. OMG no. I can't.
Not even for the steamiest makeout session EVER.
I'm listening to the end of "Iris" which I first heard in the movie "City of Angels" and which also made me cry, like, for days. A guy gives up, literally, forever to be with the girl he falls in love with, and then something tragic happens - like in a Nicholas Sparks' movie.
I wish this book had a bit more consideration for the readers who DIDN'T like City of Angels or those who are NOT Nicholas Sparks fans. #disconnected

Genres: Mature New Adult/Adult Contemporary Romance - recommended for ages 18 and up.
This was a great book, i loved it. It's exactly my type of book. I cried,i laughed. I have a lot of sympathy for Remington.
i honestly don't know what to say, i loved the book, it wan't written that beautifully- (the vocabulary and the style) the idea though was perfect i like it a lot.
There were some negative things, but i'm not gonna mention them.

I don't really understand where are the 5 star ratings were coming from for this book. Yes, it was entertaining and yes, Remy was all kinds of alpha male hot, but those were some of the only redeeming qualities.
The first half of the book took me FOR-EH-VER to read. I was so tired of hearing Brooke have a completely unrealistic internal dialogue with herself. I'm sorry, but no one calls their lady bits a 'kitty cat' in real life. And if you do, for the love of God, STOP.

What can I say but I love Remy, like seriously love him. Can the man be any sweeter and my heart ached for him. Remy is passionate about everything in his life and it's both beautiful and painful at times. And Brooke. At first I really liked her. She was an athlete and endured a career ending injury but she picks herself up and starts a new career as a sports therapist. I have a hard time giving this book only 3 stars, but I also had a hard time connecting with the characters. The writing was good and I liked the setting- that's what kept me turning the pages! However, there seemed to be some things that didn't make sense in the story and Remy's character almost seemed paranormal to me. Lots of licking and scenting! O.o

Let me begin by saying I think i might be in the minority here; I didn't loved this as much as others did. For me this was quite a cute story, albeit very frustrating! I felt like shouting at my kindle 'will you just do it already!'
So... I enjoyed reading it, and I will probably read the follow up as I want a HEA for Brooke and Remy. However, for some reason or another i failed to truly connect to the characters. It was fine as a light read for a Sunday afternoon. ...more

With all the hype about this book I thought yes finally I'm in need of a great story. ... Sadly I am in the minority in how I feel :( it was so poorly written and there just was NO character development! oh well on to the next one.
