Oh what a bloody damn shame this was.
So sad to say I had to give up on this at 71% .. I was just so freakin' bored.

I was so excited to start this as I was a big fan of On Dublin Street. This did have a real promising start, and Cam was right up my tattooed bad boy street, but rapidly went down hill for me around 57% after the couple got together.
All of a sudden we lost the spark, the angst, the chase, the chemistry and all action.
Maybe this would have been better as a novella?

I have to say I was very excited to read this one after seeing so many five star reviews and was a bit shocked when I started reading it.
I was completely bored during the first half of the book.
I actually fell asleep on it twice.
But I was determined to finish it.
I'm glad I hung in there.
The latter half of the book, plus the epilogue saved it from getting a two star review from me.
I actually quite enjoyed the story once the relationship between Cam & Jo ignited.

After reading the spectacular On Dublin Street and waiting months for Down London Road to be released, all I can say is that I’m really disappointed.
There were some good moments where I thought the story could possibly have substance, but those were few and far between.
It was a bit all over the place, to be honest.
The good:
-We got to see some more of Joss and Braden, which was awesome.
-The writing was great. Even with the lack of a good story, I loved the author’s writing style.

I think people are coming into this book with such On Dublin expectations that they are becoming disappointed. I came with no hopes for this book because Jo wasn't someone that I connected with or even cared about in book one. I don't think this story is as strong as the first but I really do think it's better then what I'm hearing.

“You know, the world will always try to make you into who it wants you to be. People, time, events, they’ll all try to carve away at you and make you think you don’t know who you are. But it doesn’t matter who they try to make you, or what name they try to give you. If you stay true, you can chip off all their machinations and you’re still you underneath it all.”
