That was certainly one of the most intense, emotionally loaded, life changing books I've ever had the opportunity to read.
It was a story of an abused girl that experienced the miracle of an unconditional love. A really beautiful story which shows that there's always hope even in the most hopeless situations.

I can't even put in to words how I feel right now. Hopeless is the best book I've ever read. I have to come back for the review when my tears have dried.

This book was Sea of Tranquility Good. And that last chapter, perfect!
While this book has its moments of unreal dialogue, (where the guy who doesn't speak very much tells you everything you've ever wanted to hear) I still loved it. It wasn't overdone, simply a great balance of love, loss, and anger.
Read it, Love it, and then tell people about it! ...more

I don't know how I feel about this ... it felt too goey for my liking and I felt the plot is actually really tiny but just exaggerated!

I have to write a review about this , i really couldn't get it out of my head . I have so many conflicting emotions running through me about this book .
Honestly i didn't feel it , which is strange cause i live for books like this . I thought the main couple was cute but i didn't think their love was great or epic . HOLYYYYY MOLLLLY. This was awesome..
I didn't know what the synopsis was before reading, so it was like a blind date for me. A blind date that ended up being my soul mate.
I've read books, that are "romance" genred, that touch on the topic of child abuse, or abuse of any kind, and sometimes it doesn't come across real. This book will more than likely consume my thoughts for a long while if not forever! I'm at a loss of words of how the lives of these characters played out. How is it possible I felt happiness for them yet such heart break at the same time. Hoping for a sequel to see what the "forevers" have in store.

2.5 stars. Okay. I am obviously in the minority with how I felt about this book. It was kinda, a little bit, totally OTT, and it was predictable. Very early on I knew damn near EVERYTHING except how Karen fit in. I can usually deal with predictability, though, as long as I appreciate how everything unravels, but in this book I didn't feel invested enough. It seemed like some of the revelations were more for shock than to really add value to the story.

I liked it. I read it very fast because of how the author started the book with a scene from the future which created a massive need to know how it happened!!
It was very moving and it was beautiful and I liked the way it was written.

This was a hard one. In the end, I just couldn't give it 5 stars.
With that said, I still think it's a deeply affecting novel which really illustrates the ugly realities of life. We hide behind facades, but some are do one better and are stronger than others who can live through despair. Some can't. Sky is a survivor who lives on, but is taken back to her past by Holder. its so beautifully written..as well as emotional,hot,sexy and fun read..
its been a long time since i read a book with such a depth...
at first when i read the blurb... i thought "oh!this is another book of leads with troubled past"..but boy was i wrong!!
the way that the story flow is like a melting chocolate.
i enjoyed this book to the last word..
its an emotional roller coaster..
this is my first colleen hovers book and im gonna read every thing she wrote..
