Loved this one. Usually a fan of "friends to lovers" books and this was one of them. It was a compelling read. The Hero and Heroine were great - strong characters who met when they were in 4th grade and had remained friends over the years. Must check out some more books by this talented author. ...more

This book was full of friendship, love and promises. You will cry- happy tears, sad tears, you have been warned!

This book did not drag. There really was no "oh, I can't tell him I have cancer" until the very end. I hate those stories that drag the main point in the book until the very end.

I am not giving away a spoiler by telling you that the main female character, Zoey, finds out she has cancer and tells her best friend of 25 years, Robbie. This was a short, wonderful, feel- good book which I devoured in one sitting. If you have had a stressful week at work, or the kids are just driving you crazy, then this is a fabby book to read, enjoy and escape for an evening.
The beautiful relationship formed between the two main characters, Robbie and Zoey, was adorable and I loved reading both their POV. The flashbacks to their childhood friendship really allowed me to connect to the characters; they shared so many remarkable moments togethe
