Find you in the dark was a painfully real roller coaster ride. The author perfectly captured what I feel like was a very real portrait of first love - especially when that love isn't supported by those around you. Clay is the new guy in school - mysterious and hot. Maggie is your "average" girl - pretty, sarcastic, and very "normal". They meet - and after a rocky start, fall in love. Unlike the "troubled romantic leads"that tend to be stereotype novels right now, I am glad this book was brave enough to show how love is not the answer to mental illness and can lead to toxic codependent examples. It's heartbreaking to see someone spiraling out of control, and it was very raw feel to it.
