4.5 stars.

This one starts off where Darkfever finished. Mac is still in Dublin, trying to find out who killed her sister and why she was killed.

She is still living in Barron's house. Her parents are not happy and they want her home pronto.

“One day you may kiss a man you can’t breathe without, and find breadth is of little consequence.”

They are still on the lookout for the Sinsar Dubh.

Who can she trust? The strange creatures are still everywhere.

4.5 *I LOVE THIS SERIES, AND BARRONS, AND MAYBE V'LANE A LITTLE TOO* STARS.

More action, more suspense, more fear, more doubt, more evil, more darkness; all of these elements sure don't make Mac's life any easier. But while the world is turning more evil, she is gaining more knowledge and strength and one thing she makes sure to never lose is: hope.

"Hope is a critical thing. Without it, we are nothing. Hope shapes the will. The will shapes the world. I might have been suffering a dearth o

There are usually only two [good] reasons why you'd want to kick yourself after reading a book:

1. You feel like you've wasted hours of your precious life while reading it ...

and

2. You wonder WHY you didn't read it sooner!

This one falls into the latter category.

I don't have much time to write a long review since I am in a hurry to dive into the 3rd book of this awesome series but I will tell you this: if you are on a lookout for something original, exceptionally well written and highly entertain

When I had no place to turn, Jericho Barrons took me in, taught me, opened my eyes, and helped me survive. [..] So now we're partners in crime who don't trust each other one bit.

Bloodfever is the second book in one of the best paranormal series I've ever read. In book one Mac finds out she's a sidhe-seer and is on a quest to find the Sinsar-Dubh. Together with the hot as fuck Jericho Barrons she continues her quest in this sequel.

You're the OOP detector, I'm the OOP director.

Still really good!

Barrons and V'lane I'll take them both please!

Mac really impressed me in this book. What a change from the first one. Can't wait to see how her character is in the future books.

My only complaint from the book its that it felt too short (pout) or maybe it was me reading too fast. I don't know I just know that I need to know more but at the same time don't want the books/series to end so fast .

Question that I need an answer to: " WH

Re-read

Reading this series the second time around is like....pulling on your favorite winter coat to wear on unusually drafty summer day and finding a long forgotten $20 bill in one of the pockets . Like a present from the gods; lunch on them. ;)

Some 20 dollar bills I found:

"someday I'm going to push Jericho Barrons as far as I can and see what happ

I can definitely say after reading this book - I have the fever…

Love this book. Better than the first one. Love Mac in this book, she’s strong willed and a true fighter in every sense of the word. Though Mac is stubborn at times, love the way her character developed in this book.

Of course, do not get me started with Jericho Barrons – I just love him!!! *swoon*

I imagine him just like this:

Aside from being sexy and very intriguing, he saves Mac’s petunia every f

Wonderful. I am still curious about Jericho, but Vlane is both raking on my nerves and somewhat charming.
