Sadly, This was the only horror book I read for October reads 2020.
I was working too much and had too much going on, overall.
My 5th grade English teacher read Frankenstein to us back in the early 90's.
That teacher is one of the ones I credit for my love of reading, even today.
I remember her reading the part about being in the graveyard to get the "ingredients" to make the monster.

Technically 3.5 stars. This book contains the 1831 edition of the text.
Yes, it is bordering on shameful that I had never read this before. But in my defence, it was never part of a syllabus during my education (Dracula was, during secondary/high school). It’s quite easy to read for an older book, and it’s certainly interesting to see how much of the Frankenstein mythos has been bolted on or lost from following adaptations.
