I really enjoyed this book. From the exotic setting to the blending of magic and religion, it had so many interesting qualities. The first 20-30 pages were pretty concept-heavy, but I had faith that it would all eventually make sense, so I persevered and was rewarded with a great read.
The story began cluttered and slow but once you get past the first 70+pages it picks up. Would have given more stars if wasn't for the beginning.
