I’ve got such mixed feelings about this book.
I loved it, and I hated it.
I loved the world building, the concepts, the cultures, the interesting politics. I appreciated the characters and I really enjoyed the unique character voices. But the plot… the plot was nowhere to be seen at times, and other times jumped about without rhyme or reason.
There are so so so many ideas in this book. Everything including the kitchen sink is in here. Inter dimensional monsters, steam punk, frog people, vampires, ...more
