Read for the undead and Unread book club.

I didn’t think this was a bad book. It just wasn’t a book for me.

I think I realized about a hundred pages in what bothered me.

Tell me there are angels and demons - I’m cool I totally buy it.

Tell me there are walking embodiments of books walking around and my brain shuts down and goes nope. Then not only that we are told they contain part of the soul of the creator… but then we are also told these books exist before the authors are even born and my brain

I really liked this book if butt kicking librarians that save the day. The is a place in Hell where all the unwritten stories are stored. Some of stories end up as written stories and some are left there for all of eternity. It is up to Claire, the current librarian, to care for the books. When of the stories wakes up and the hero goes in search of his author Claire thinks it is just business as usual. But, she finds herself drawn into a battle of Heaven and Hell.
