I finally finished this one after starting it forever ago and then forgetting about it. This was my 2nd for the #24in48 #stayhome24in48 and it took me 3 hours and 5 minutes. I loved the idea of the book and I loved how Alex North based this book on his sons experience.

While I did really enjoy this read, I think that I hyped it so much that it didn’t live up to all the hype I was expecting.

This had the right amount of creepiness and solid characters. Very readable and a satisfying ending!

I had heard such great things about The Whisper Man. I can honestly say it did not disappoint.

I enjoyed how the book had elements that felt paranormal, criminal and down right terrifying. A few times I felt I had everything figured out and I’d be thrown for a loop. While I expected to be a lot more jumpy and scared during this read, there were definitely times when I felt a light on at night was a good idea.
