What Members Thought
The plot itself is to die for! I loved the characters, the crime, the investigation. It was so good, and kept me reading for sure. I had so many guesses along the way as to what would happen, and even though I was usually wrong, I was happy with every outcome. I really loved the different perspectives in each chapter, and the ending was actually well done, it didn’t end as quickly or abruptly as other novels do, yay! It’s about time I read a book with a great ending!

3.5. For the first time in awhile, I don’t agree with the majority. It was a good book, don’t get me wrong, but it didn’t draw me in like I wanted it to. There were some good twists and it was definitely eerie at times, so it had what a true thriller should consist of. But when it ended, it felt incomplete, as if it was rushed.
I could not put this book down! I had been seeing this book everywhere on Bookstagram and luckily, my IRL book club picked it for the September read! I thought it was just the right amount of creepiness, without being too overboard with the supernatural. I don't usually try to figure out the whodunit aspect of a book, but with this one, once we knew where the story was going, I was desperately trying to figure it out!
