Here's a book that is a mix between Jumper and The Notebook Movies. It is coming soon to a cinema near you starring Eric Bana ( Henry) and Rachel McAdams ( Clare).

The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger (2003)
This book focuses on a lifelong love between two people, librarian Henry and artist Clare. Henry was born with a genetic condition called Chrono-Displacement Disorder which causes him to time-travel back and forth - and unfortunately most of the time Henry doesn't have control over i

Perhaps a 100 pages too long but this has to be one of the most beautiful love stories I have comes across to date. Despite all the suffering, unfairness and heartbreak they will face, the two are completely in love and dedicated to each other. Their love is tested time and time again and although life is certainly cruel in their case they are determined to push through.

A man who can travel through time and a lover who waits at the end of that tunnel hoping he comes back to her safe. Heart - br

From the first few paragraphs I was hooked. I was nearly 200 pages in before I even thought about getting myself a drink and making myself comfortable. A few sleepless nights later and I was back from this strange journey.

This story is absolutely lovely and will make you cry more than you thought possible. It's part sci-fi and part love story and I highly recommend it for fans of either genre.

The only real criticism I have is that it felt sometimes as if Audrey Niffenegger was trying to prove

I stayed away from the computer and up into the wee hours to finish The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. This is the author's debut novel and I must say, I am impressed. I am not a lover of love stories, but the abundant praise and upcoming release of the movie sparked my curiosity. I was obviously caught up in the often confusing and exasperating story of Henry and Clare. Their love was apparent along with their anger, fear and jealousy that arose from the fact that Henry would time-

This book is one of the most difficult books I have to rate but I settled for three stars anyway, okay, my explanation goes...

I was hooked by it's storyline, which was quite impressive. And I hate to say that the following would sound very negative but I'd like to voice my negative opinions for someone to just realize the positive bits I'm not going to mention because I'm afraid I would make this review very long.

DEEP BREATH...

The characters almost sound like each other. Sometimes, it's difficul

The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

Genre: Fiction

Henry DeTamble is just your thirtysomething average guy – he’s a librarian, is in a relationship, and likes to go out and have a few drinks – except he time travels at any given moment and leaves a pile of clothes behind, and when he comes back he is absolutely naked!

Clare Abshire is your average little girl – she has picnics in the meadow, goes to school, and lives in a huge house – except a naked older man shows up in the meadow one d

Loved it. Sometimes I had to go and re-read something to make sure I had the correct connection between past, present, & future. Kept me on my toes. Great love story. A little sad. Reminded me of the now defunct TV show Journeyman. Loved that show.

Henry has chrono-impairment, a rare genetic disorder that causes him to time travel both backwards and forwards. On one trip, he encounters young Clare and the two form a bond and eventually marry. Because of his disorder, their marriage and life are unique.

The point of view in THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE alternates between Henry and Clare so readers get to know both characters well in this romantic science fiction novel. I thought the characters were great and the unique plot kept me hoo
