For me this is a book that I never would have picked up on my own. I read it for the Blogger's Unite book club.
This is not the sort of book I am used to reading. The journal style left me confused more than once. And the time traveling back and forth had me more than once looking back to try to keep track of the story. But by the middle of the story I got used to it.

A lighter weight book than I generally like, story is a stretch, characters are interesting.
I enjoyed the concept of this book, but I had trouble with the whole Lolita type thing. It made me uncomfortable and kept me from enjoying the book as much as I thought
This is another one of my favorite books of all time. So intense. So clever. So beautiful.
So very different and entertaining!
