This book was amazing. I love the new characters, and I love how Percy came back. It was really sweet that Percy got his memories back, and it revealed to us some Percabeth moments. :D I'm really excited for the Mark of Athena. I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I was really hyped to find out what Frank's family gift was, and it was pretty cool. Hazel, praise her, she was wonderful. But I still like Annabeth better. And Percy, I didn't know he cared that much for Annabeth. And Ah, I just c ...more

Finally I bought it today, but I'll wait to read it tomorrow so I can enjoy it.

Aaaaaah, it's been a while since I read a book from end to finish in one sitting. Sadly it took me about two hours to finish. Talk about soreness....

I personally thought that The Son of Neptune was much better than the Lost Hero, for multiple reasons.

One: It had better constructed characters. For instance, we know basically nothing about Jason nor do we Piper or Leo, so when we read this, we're all like "Oh my gods, we have Percy Back! Yay!" And then we have Octavian; See, I've always based good books on villians. To have a good plot, you have to have that certain weirdo that builds up all that tension that makes you nearly go off a cliff. A

*clears throat* Okay, Uncle Rick, even though there was a cliffy in the end, awesome job! (as usual)

Guys, Percy Jackson is back!

So, Jason was right about Percy having no memory...And now, Percy is in another camp called Camp Jupiter.

I loved the characters! Fr

Great book! The Heroes of Olympus series totally picks up where Percy Jackson and the Olympians left off in awesomeness, adventure, comedy, mythological mayhem, and great characters. Somebody please convince Rick to release Mark of Athena tomorrow!!!!
