Wonderfully written, with elegant, simple prose, and a well-paced plot that kept me turning the pages. I can't say that I "looked forward" to reading this--the subject matter was far too dark for that--and yet every time I picked it up, I had trouble putting it down.

We've all discussed (or at least wondered) if people are born morally good or bad. The Devil All the Time proves whether you are inclined to be a good person or not matters not - men are social animals, if your mentors and those are around you are crooked, your 'good actions' won't be straight.
