I really enjoyed this story about a young girl faced with many tough decisions and the effect they may or may not have in her life. CeeCee's life brings up many questions about morals and responsibility; the interesting thing is that you will find yourself constantly thinking what you would do in her position. There were several parts of the story that required me to suspend my disbelief, but despite that it was a page-turner. Secrets. Romance. Mystery. The 1970's. It was the perfect book to start my summer reading.

3.5 -4. stars. This story just did not seem believable to me. The young girl out on her own at 16 was just too out there. The author's writing was very smooth and you wanted to find something that was believable but it just did not do it for me. This was just an okay story.

It was an easy read in the matter of flow. Well-written and engaging. I had a problem with believability especially with what happened in the end.
