The characters in this book really shined and made me feel like a part of their world. This was such a happy love story.
I walked into this book expecting a sweet and funny diversion. I did get that, but I also got a book that was so hopeful and loving and warm and witty that I was really taken by surprise. It’s a gay romance, mixed in with an interesting, relevant take on politics in the United States, mixed further in with a beautiful look at biological, blended and found families. This book is about educated, literate people written for educated, literate people.
