I really enjoyed this sweet story about a Professor, his Housekeeper and the Housekeeper's son. It was very simply but beautifully written. I enjoyed watching the relationships among the characters grow throughout the book. It's a fairly quick and easy read but there is so much to the story beyond just the words. It's a beautiful story that I think anyone would appreciate. It's a very refreshing book - simplistic and focusing on themes of family, friendship, unity and symmetry. I really enjoyed

I started and finished this book in one evening - the story was compelling with well-written characters and the use of math within the story was amazing. I was able to understand how these numbers and equasions were beautiful. The story had me looking at numbers in another light, which I found thrilling. I highly recommend this book for anyone.
4.5 stars This is a story about a housekeeper, her son, and the mathematics professor she is assigned to work for. The housekeeper takes care of a man who was a mathmatics professor before he had a head injury. Now he has a memory of approx. 80 minutes so each day the housekeeper and eventually her son, must introduce themselves to him each day and go about their lives. Very delightful story told in a swirl of mathematical problems and poetry.
Beautiful story about the relationship between a Professor and his Houskeeper. Their story is special due to the Professor's short term memory loss as a result of an accident. I am not a fan of math however, the author used mathamatics as a way to connect the characters. I thought it was a quick read and a nice story.

I loved the relationship that developed between them and the housekeepers's son. It was heartwarming to see how this became more than a job. Also intriguing were the mathematical equations the professor solved and posed. Who knew math could be so interesting? The introduction of these mathematical concepts seemed to me a clever way to have the characters and reade
