To start, Patrick Ness is a genius.
This book really blew me away. I was immediately sucked into the prologue- a vivid description of a teenager drowning. This description took my breath away. Everyone has that one way they DO NOT want to die... after reading the first few pages, I might just have to say that I do not want to DROWN.
I'm not really sure how to describe this book adequately.
What happens after we die? Is there MORE than this?

A good read if a bit "too" teen-angsty. It kept me guessing right up to the end, and I'm still not 100% resolved as to which reality was "real". The characters were pretty one dimensional, but a decent read none-the-less. Probably closer to a 3 1/2 star...
