A sweet read, I liked the characters and the town, especially once Maya appears. Books about book stores have an advantage with me, l am so happy in them. Books that reference other books are often favorites, as well. I really enjoyed it.
Such a lovely little book! I really enjoyed every moment of this novel! Especially relevant for book lovers! I think this is a novel that has something for everyone! I can't recommend it highly enough!

This was a nice, predictable, somewhat sappy little novel about a curmudgeonly book seller whose outlook on life takes a sharp turn after adopting a child abandoned in his store. Despite these seemingly insurmountable obstacles, the book turns out to be rather good. The characters, both major and minor all play a role in the development of the novel. This is a sweet book about the life of a lovely bookish nerd. As is the case with most nerds he has nerdy friends and family, and then those he converts. Totally engaging story that nods to the bookish reader while dropping "next read" suggestions to folks who don't have a literary curator in their life. Highly suggest across the board.
