What Members Thought
I met this amazing dog and his owner Libby last summer at our library's literary festival. Lucky loves attention and Libby had to get the crowd cheering and clapping for him to make an appearance. The story of NC state dog, Battle Cry, is based on actual events that occurred when Libby found Lucky wounded on the side of the road and rescued him. My grandchildren love the story and with each page turn they soon picked up on the repeating phrase "one lucky dog." Lucky and Libby live in my area and
