I don't know why I keep reading Kopano as Sopronos -.-
I love this series and now I can't wait for book #2 because uhg! Kai stop being a douche but then again he has to be, so.. just uhg! :c I hope someone just makes Kai's father fall off the face of the Earth.

16-year-old Anna can see emotions. Each emotion that she can feel and see has a distinct color. Anna goes with a friend to a concert and first sees Kaidan Rowe, who is the drummer in the band. Kaidan doesn't have an aura, he only has a “concentrated starburst of bright red at his sternum.” What I found refreshing about Anna is that she is poor but she isn't snotty about it.
