"Conversations with Amelia" was a very enjoyable read. There was a great mix of history, including the intriguing life of Amelia Earhart, the struggles of mothers widowed by WWII, and the life of a "special" child in postwar era Texas. Added to that is the struggle of a pastor to make the tough decision of whether to play it safe and further his career, or take an unpopular stand as his conscience urges him to do.
