This was a difficult book to rate.
It was the best novel/best written and maybe sweetest/most believable romance of the series. I really loved Jessie's character/development and was happy that the couple's sexual interaction wasn't forced into Lorelei James' typical format-- it felt much more naturalistic than in some of the other later books where the sexual relationship feels a bit rinse-repeat/copy-paste from earlier books.
Probably in the grand scheme of things I would give this book a 3.5 or ...more

This is probably more of a 3.5 or 3.75 for me. It has more to do with my opinion of Jessie - I just don't like her, even though I did like her a little more by the end of the book... And then coming off the previous books, it just hadn't met that high standard I've come accustomed to. Yeah, there was drama, yeah, hot sex, but I just wasn't into it...

In a lot of ways, these books have become predictable, but I still can't put them down. Like all other women, I am obsessed with the McKays!
