Its hard to say how i feel about this book. on one hand the writing style drove me nuts. the sentences are short and choppy, like a conversation, which isn't that annoying on its own. its more what the kid is saying and how he's saying it. it was an interesting read, like nothing i've really read before. the characters were interesting. despite the annoying sentences, you really get a clear depiction of who every character is. they are very real, like they could be someone you actually know and

You would think this book is just another high school drama, but it isn't. It's something more, and especially something that not many writers write about. All these high school romances hide reality,however it is revealed in Chbosky's writing. It's spectacular how such an artist could write something and having a real image.
