well - Don't take my two star rating to seriously, truth is i abandoned this at around 5% after finding it very slow, i was partially encouraged to do this by the paragraph where the main character explains that she likes to rub moisturizing lotion onto her face before it evaporates into her hands.well damn it! i said out loud as i punched the sky, YES YES YES! now that was really what i wanted to read about when i picked up an historic action book called highlander, just fascinating!

Despite the ongoing barrage of "how many ways can we goof with mushy lust/love dialogue and write sex scenes?" in this 627 page book (seriously, take out all the Regency Romance templates and it's maybe 400 pages) ... I rated it three stars. It had great history, geography, and was well researched in general. Frankly, that's all that got me through the book. If you're into romance, erotica and historical fiction, you'll dig this book. If not, even the good aspects won't entice you to pick up ano

My favorite book I've read all year! It held my interest from day one with the characters, the history, the setting. A wonderful book that I highly recommend to anyone who loves history, romance, and science fiction. Once you meet Jamie Fraser, he stays with you always!
