I picked this book to read as my science fiction book because the short summary caught my eye and i was immediately curious about it. Once i started reading it i couldn't put it down, i loved it, the fact that Luke the main character was so sheltered was strange. And i could't believe that in this time there was a limit on the amount of kids a family could have, which forced Luke to go into hiding and become a shadow child.
