"The Secret History" is Donna Tartt's first novel. After the tremendous acclaim that "The Goldfinch" received (and by "acclaim," I mean she won the Pulitzer for it) her other two novels received much-deserved attention."The Secret History" became one of my new favorite books halfway through. Tartt somehow manages to write a page-turner that is rich with information and detail. Would I call in dense? Absolutely not.
