My rating is really more of a 2.5, but I rounded up because (like the rest of you) I heart Sam Seaborn.
It's pretty much exactly what you would expect from the autobiography of an actor that has been in the business for decades. He has met a lot of interesting people and had his fair share of failures and successes. It's gossipy, but no so much as to offend anyone. And, as others have said, it glosses over some of the more notorious parts of his past.

I liked Rob Lowe in West Wing and in the Austin Powers movie, and had a tween crush on him. I have nothing against him; however, this book is vapid and solipsistic. It needed an editor who would have asked tough questions about acting and addiction; about what someone in another country, from another time, could possibly learn from reading his book. I gave it away as a white elephant gift (along with a bookstore gift card, so the recipient wouldn't hate me).
