I don't know why it took me so long to read this book. It is amazing. For a long time I thought it was a kid/teen lit book, but it's definitely a mature novel, complex and rich and full of magic. The story is clever and well constructed, not told in a traditional way, but through moments played our over the course of years. In this sense, the work feels almost epic, as it stretches across a large time period, and so many different places, all centered around the Night Circus. It's immersive and ...more
