I'm usually quite hesitant to pick up an LGBT romance. I know that's my own prejudices, but that is what my druthers are. I am very glad I picked up this one, though. Very glad.

This book was cute and heartfelt and it allowed me to enter a world with a female president who was competent (as opposed to the world we find ourselves in reality). The characters were well done and the situations funny but not too unrealistic.

It would be fun if the author revisited the couple in say 5 - 10 years time, ...more

Umm hello, why did I wait so long to read this. The hype is real. Not only is the entirety of this thing filled with swoon-worthy moments and all my favorite tropes/cliches, but it is also pretty dang original. It sounds like a future of a world I really wouldn't mind living in. ...more

I enjoyed some parts of this book, but found a lot of the writing to be too on the nose. The sex scenes were quite explicit and didn’t quite match the rest of the writing, almost like 2 books in one.
