When Richelle Mead said that The Fiery Heart would be her hottest novel yet, I had a good idea of what would happen between Sydney and Adrian. Thing is, I didn't realize exactly how often the hotness would sizzle through the pages, if you know what I mean. Since they are one of my favorite couples, it made me extremely happy.

The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead lives true to its name. During this central book is the times Adrian and Sydney walk within a lighted cavern both certain of their role as candleholder. Neither letting the bounds over their romance to take hold and pull them away.

On reread- Is it a spoiler to say that I hate Zoe? God, I hate Zoe. Also, Angeline, even though I know she's supposed to be growing on us. While I really like this book, especially the end and all the drama that goes down, I wish we had more of Jill. Like, I know that Adrian and Sydney are the main characters, especially now that we get Adrian's perspective, but I miss Jill. Also, the last two chapters of this are really hard to read, especially the scene with Sydney and Zoe and their dad. Freak
