Continues from book 1. Theo determined to get her kingdom back from the Kaiser by all means. But does that means she needs to marry into another country.

Court life in this book. Planning on what to do. Backstabbing, untrustworthy people in this court and murders.

I enjoyed and cant wair for book 3.

I think this suffers from middle book syndrome. At least I hope it does, because I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as book one. All the things that I liked in book one weren't here- mostly having a terrifying bad guy and complicated dynamics. I liked Cress and Theo in book one, and I did enjoy seeing Art and her mother here, and how complex their relationship was, but I wish we got more, because Theo and the suitors bored me. ...more
