I absolutely love Becky Albertalli and I knew with her co-authoring, I was in for a treat. And while I loved WHAT IF IT'S US pithy banter, I just didn't LOVE the story.
As for plot: there was an adorable meet cute involving a hot dog tie and a flash mob. And Arthur--one of our two main characters-- is absolutely adorable (Becky Albertalli's chapters, naturally). such a cute boy-love romance. ketemu tak sengaja, jatuh cinta, lalu harus berpisah. banyak referensi pop-culture: harry potter, hamilton, dr. seuss, dll. mostly, harry potter dan hamilton. dual pov, bergantian antara dua tokoh utama: ben dan arthur. dibaca cepet karena sambil dengerin colongan audiobook-nya di youtube yang disetel dalam kecepatan 1,5x.
