I'll say this was interesting. A 3/3.5 🌟 Morgan Rhodes isn't scared to test her characters and get you the reader to wonder how this character going to fit in but then the author goes a different way with that characters' fate. To have 3 kingdoms one living it up while another one is down and struggling and the third one living on with the power of hoping magic can keep them going.

That was the easiest 5 stars to give away. This book had me enthralled from the prologue to the end. I couldn't put it down it was amazing. The author did a great job with character development. Cleo was this spoiled brat who I think was coddled by her father and older sister and she did what she wanted.
