Wow! Like other reviewers before me, I cannot say much without spoiling it for others! Let me just say this book cannot be judged by its description. It is not a book of teenage angst. It is a book about living life.
The characters are funny and profound, the artistry is wonderful, and I just loved it! It must be read.

Everything Everything is a heartbreaking story at times, but full of hope and life. The loveable characters and how good they are to (and for) each other, their complicated situations and how invested you end up in their lives make this ya contemporary a must read. It’s also a fast and light read because of the illustrations and the emails and IMs, but it doesn’t make the story any less meaningful. So go. Read it. I’m sure it’ll give you a handful of feelings.

Madeline, our heroine of Everything, Everything has SCID—in short, the bubble-boy disease. She’s allergic to everything and can’t leave her house. The only human interaction she has is with her mother (also her best friend and doctor), her nurse, and one or two of her school tutors. She lives in a whitewashed, plastic environment and wears jeans and a white t-shirt every day. The only way she exper ...more

Kind of a cute light read, funny and witty at times and there is a sweet romance. But it really was not great and did not touch me like I really want a book to emotionally. Some of seemed a bit unbelievable and even though that did not completely ruin the story, I would have liked more. The ending seems cut short too.
I went through ups and downs, not wanting to put the book down. That twist!! I didn't see it coming. Wow! Even though the book has mixed reviews I enjoyed it, Ollie was just too perfect much of the time but in a good way.

Ridiculous, improbable, addictive! Teenagers making bad decisions that make you cheer on their rebellion while palmfacing at the same time! I couldn't put this one down.

Absolutely beautiful.
