What Members Thought
This book was awesome, I loved the whole world-building of it with the courts, the faeries, the history. I gotta say that I also really liked the villain for this one because I could understand how her cruelty came from this really deep pain. I mean, I hated what she did, but I liked that it all made sense. I also loved so many of the characters, and the romance in this one was /hot/. It shouldn’t take 70% of a book to get to the good part.
So, I did truly enjoy the last 30% of this book. However it was like pulling teeth to get through the first 70%. I started this as an audiobook, which may have been what led to how excrutiating it was to get through the beginning. I have read about 9 books within the span of starting and finishing ACOTAR.

Half the time Feyre is TSTL, and half the time she isn't. It felt like reading about two different girls. The first half of this book also drrraaaagggggeeeeeddddddddddddd. The second half was by far more interesting, with Feyre having to complete 3 tasks to prove her love, and just her dealing with more of the fae was way more interesting than her moping around Tamlin's manor for the first half.
