I was so excited when I heard we were going to once again visit the D! Reconnecting with Riley and Jack and all their kids. I love visiting this family.
In this story we have Connor, twin of Lexi . We also get to know River, who Connor has had a major crush on since first meeting him in the hall at college. It was reciprocated although that wasn't obvious at the start.

Another installment of the Campbell-Hayes saga – count me in! It’s set a few years after the previous book and it was great to see all the characters again, especially in a Christmas setting which is all about family to start with. Jack, the cowboy, and Riley, the oil man, are still very much themselves. Going through their Christmas traditions with the entire family there as events unfold was simply wonderful. There is drama, some angst, but mostly this story focuses on the love this family sha

Kidnapped for Christmas
This was a great feel good holiday read. Connor is unbelievably sweet and River needs all that sweetness to act as a balm to soothe all the hurts his heart holds. I enjoyed seeing River being folded into Connor's family because he was in desperate need of a place to belong. This touching story is a great addition to the Texas series. ...more

Connor is all grown up. He clearly inherited the best of both his Dads, demonstrated in his caring, determination and loyalty. So clearly the path to his Happily Ever After has to have some detours.
Enter River. He is a man consumed by his own demons and uncertain of his own strengths, even after Connor points them out to him. This story beautifully manages the messy process of putting all your broken bits back together, creating a poignant Christmas story.

A Christmas story in the Riley and Jack world? Definitely a must-read for me!!
Honestly, you could (maybe, possibly) read this as a stand-alone, but WHY? The Texas series is amazing and not to be missed. This is Connor's story (one of the Campbell-Hayes twins). Connor and River are both endearing and complicated. River has a past he doesn't want to disclose and Connor is much like Pappa Jack and wants/needs to "fix" everything. I don't do spoilers, so don't expect this review to rehash/retell the ...more

I love stories that move from one generation to the next, and still get a peek at the older characters. Oh and Christmas, it was a sweet story of Connor and River. I liked that there was such a difference in them, not just their backgrounds. It was a quiet story about them, it just kept flowing and from their story to Christmas activities and back to them. It was sweet, hot and beautiful love story. I definitely recommend this book.
More Texas? Yes, please!
Home for Christmas is RJ Scott's latest story in her wildly popular Texas series. If you follow this series at all you have to read this one. It's Connor's story – one of Jack and Riley's children and Lexi's twin. If you haven't read anything in this series Home for Christmas actually stands alone quite well. You maybe won't get the same tingly, deep feelings when reading as I did but you will still enjoy it very much. I wouldn't suggest reading any of the other books in ...more

This is the ninth in the MM Texas Series. This also is set at Christmas, which was wonderful. This is Connor’s story, having read all the other Texas series books, it was great to get to catch up with all the characters. Connor is grown in this book and embarking on his adult life. RJ Scott has created characters that are complex and emotional, who take life’s hardships and turn them into something great. The characters are very inspirational. This is a fast moving book, it is hard to put down,

This story has all the feels!!!!
I just fell in love with Connor and River. Watching their love story unfold in all it's glory was amazing. There is sweetness, struggles, misunderstandings but above all else there is love. Love of family. Love of your chosen person.
