A wonderfully sweet holiday story. Brody and Justin were great characters and although they each entered the competition for their own reasons, Brody to take his mind off of his divorce from his cheating husband and Justin to secure a future far from his upbringing in the foster care system, they end up not just fighting to win but they also fight falling for each other. Sweet, festive, and enjoyable from beginning to end.

So sweet, so good and the audio is great!

I love everything that RJ Scott writes – her Christmas stories are particularly wonderful – and Cupcakes & Christmas is no exception. I also love Sean Crisden's audio performances and he did his usual fantastic job with this one. The audiobook of Cupcakes & Christmas was actually available before the ebook was published so I bought it and started listening to it before I began reading my advanced copy of the ebook.

First off..whatever you do, do not miss the comments under each chapter number. Is that giving too much away? I have to say they are THE BEST.
Now, onto the story itself. Brody and Justin are adorable. Their chemistry, their shy looks even their "faults" as they think of them. I myself find that someone with no past faults or issues would be boring. I loved Cupcakes and Christmas, possibly because it’s set in my province, Alberta, but mostly because I loved the characters and anything to do with baking also makes me happy. Add in a baking competition and I am in heaven! I thought the connection between Brody and Justin was fantastic. I love how they connected and their romance was just so sweet. The story was fast-paced and super hot and sexy. I totally recommend this romance.

I really enjoyed this holiday romance between Justin and Brody. They are just what the other needed, without knowing it!
Both men are dealing with personal issues from their past. Seeing them open up to the possibility of love is wonderful.
I loved how supportive they are of each other, even in the competitive situation they find themselves in.
Cupcakes and Christmas is a delicious holiday treat!

Where to start!? Brody and Justin were absolutely brilliant characters and so meticulously crafted! Everything about them made sense and their story flower just right! It was pure pleasure to get to know them!
Theme there is the plot itself and amazingly detailed insight into social media and TV shows! The stage is set brilliantly for this story, making it a great page turner!

This was a wonderful Christmas story. I really enjoy Bake-Off, so a book with a Christmas setting in the Bake-Off world was wonderful. As always with this author, the characters were amazing, and the pace of the story made it hard to put down. It was a lovely Christmas story!

This was exactly the fluff I needed to end the old year and bring in the new one with. Cupcakes, cakes, icing, a snowman with a name, romance, and just the right twist of angst. A+
