I really struggle with the first 15% of this e-book and I'm also really glad I'm not a quitter, because after the story matches the expectations I built up in the past. Although I understand the intrinsical value of this novel I couldn't get engaged by Esther. She's not a person I'd like to meet in real life.

l'uso della prima persona ci aiuta a capire gli stati d’animo della protagonista, certe situazioni vissute dall’interno, le sue illusioni e soprattutto le sue disillusioni. quello che vorrebbe essere e quello che gli altri si aspettano da lei. a chi di noi non è capitato questo divario tra l’ intimo desiderio di seguire noi stessi e invece la pressante richiesta esterna di aderire a un modello? certo non a livelli di “mal ...more
