OK I finally succumbed and read One Day by David Nicholls as it seemed as though every single person in London was reading it and I wondered what I was missing out on. Well I was missing out on a cracking story that follows 2 friends throughout their lives.

It was initially interesting to read and the characters were abit obnoxious and annoying, but loveable in their own way. It was a pleasure to read until it felt like a drag and i really didnt see the point of the last few chapters when the author did abit of flashback and gave details of what actually happened after the first night the two main characters slept together.
I did enjoy this book but I kept expecting there to be more. I guess you could say I had trouble "empathizing" with the characters and then, well not giving anything away.... I don't regret reading it by any means...
