It was initially interesting to read and the characters were abit obnoxious and annoying, but loveable in their own way. It was a pleasure to read until it felt like a drag and i really didnt see the point of the last few chapters when the author did abit of flashback and gave details of what actually happened after the first night the two main characters slept together.
This book was absolutely brilliant. The writing was really smart and fresh and quite witty. The characters were flawed and imperfect. I also liked the style - checking in with the characters on the same day every year? Very nice and different.

Absolutely loved this book. Very sad ending, but well-written with very fleshed out characters. Definitely want to read more of Nicholls' stuff in the future.
