I was NOT expecting this trilogy ride to end the way it did. It took me a week to stop being so upset about the ending and decide how I was going to review this book.
I enjoyed it as a whole and I needed the closure it brought to the end of the The Hunger Games books. Honestly, I didn't expect everyone would make it to the last page, but I was still taken by surprise and terribly upset by the end (near end) of this book.

I really enjoyed reading the first 2 books, but the last one was a big let down. I didn't like katniss and the more I read the book, the more I disliked her. The ending was also a huge let down. I have expected more for the ending of Snow and Capitol. too many unnecessary deaths and disappointing turn out for Katniss' love saga.
