So much have been written about this book so all I am going to say the dialogue, sparse as it is is genius. The boy is adorable (I listened to this on audio and the narrator was brilliant.
And and and but here is what I need you to know. I read a lot. As in hundreds of books per year. I have read numerous pulitzer prize books. That does not impress me much. This book isn't for the faint hearted. It's a reality based hard hitting grim view of our world after an apocolyptic world war. I LOVED THIS! It brought emotions forth that many of us hide. The movie didn't do the written word justice.
