My book club chose this book. Most of the club did not like it. However, I really enjoyed it. Jenny Lawson is irreverent and has a definitely skewed viewpoint. I began following her blog after reading the book.

I wasn't a fan of The Bloggess before I read this book, but I am now! Although I didn't love the stories from childhood, her descriptions of her adult life were hilarious and did indeed have me laughing out loud. I got a big kick out of this book and look forward to reading Jenny's blog regularly. ...more
